The life of a runner who wants to win is a constant struggle to push beyond the finish line. The life of a determined person is to strive to become what we are not, and to do what we ordinarily thought is not doable. I always draw so much inspiration from a quote from Apostle Paul, a phenomenal guy named in the Scriptures, “I am not perfect, and I have not yet reached the goal. But one thing I constantly do: I forget what is behind me, reach for what is before me, and press on towards the mark.” In order words he constantly pushed forward to what was ahead meaning that at any point in time there is always something to look forward to achieving. I have no idea what your life resembles now. That’s personal. Even if your journey mimics a cycle of four forward steps and seven backwards, it does not matter. As long as you are constantly pushing, it won’t be long before the dynamics of your movement shifts in the vertical direction. Understand that life never promises us an arena of party cocktails and celebrations all the time. Life can come with ups and downs but what matters is the meaning and attention you give each event. Stay on course, The Power is in YOU!
